Michael Ranson was called to the Bar in 2019, having been admitted as a solicitor in 2004 and worked as a partner at Macfarlanes LLP between 2012 and 2019. He has a broad practice covering residential, commercial and agricultural property with a particular interest in the interpretation of legal agreements including leases, covenants, options and agreements for the sale and purchase of land. He has been nominated by the President of the Law Society to act as an Expert and was an Arbitrator under the Commercial Rent (Coronavirus) Act 2022 arbitration scheme.
